ECONOMIC PROBLEMS?

What do you make of all this economic trouble? Banks melting down, stocks falling like rocks in pond. Does it worry you? Do you think it'll impact your job choices when you graduate in four years?

The economy does worry me. Its effecting everyone in this country. Hopefully by the time i graduate in a couple of years things will be better but who knows maybe it will take years if we keep getting hit by huricanes or by electing the wrong president.

I try not to look that far ahead but it will definitely have an impact on me and not in a good way. As a matter of fact we are all being affected right now with all the cuts especially in education, not to mention the national debt and the cost of the war. I don't think the future is looking bright for all of the prospect tax payers. This is an issue that we should all be concerned about.

The economic problems today dont really worry me at this point, but im defenetly hoping that by the time we graduate in a few years things will get better. Although things could gradualy get worse i try to think on a more positive note.

The American economy becomes a hot topic in the weekly skype online conversation between me and my family in China. I am from China and I am married with an American man. So my Mom, she is really worrying about my life now in America under such a bad economic environment. I always told her,"Mom, don't worry about me!"

Actually I don't worry about that too much. First of all, I was an experienced Accountant. I have rich working experience in Fortune top 500 multinational companies which I am sure that's valuable point for me to find a job either here or back to China. Secondly, I am persuing my higher education in America now. The international education background would definitely support me to survive or even develop myself very well in America or China. Thirdly, "THE WORLD is FLAT". My husband and I are able to relocate to anywhere that the economy is better as long as we are well-educated, talented with international opportunities. We will be fine and develop our career and life well.

The economy doesn't worry me. As ironic as it might sound I see great opportunities to make money in this economy. Banks are only melting down and paying the price for their bad decisions. This will not impact my job choices when I graduate in four years. The economy are cycles of ups and downs I am confident that the wealthiest nation in the world will bounce back from its low point in less than four years.

Yes, the economic problems concern me but they don’t again...I am sure they will really affect me in 4 years but as of right now I am clueless to a lot of “financial” stuff...I hope to learn a lot more in the near future though!
